Drum n Bass

Anyone here into Drum n Bass?

I just came back from seeing DJ SUV and I have to see I was impressed. DnB isnt going to take the place of trance for me but it makes a nice change. Definitely some music you can dance to.

Anyone else into DnB and know any good sites or stuff to download etc?

dont mind a bit of drum and bass myself... living in perth - it kinda gets forced upon you

try www.breakbeat.co.uk

Yah DnB is ok. If you liked SUV then you should get his DnB Selection CD (Forget the name, sorry mate)

If you're into the harder edged DnB then grab some tracks from Ed Rush & Optical, Dieselboy, DJ Krust, Stakka & Skynet etc.

ive been listening to d&b for close to 10 years now. so yea i love it hehe but i got bored of the hard stuff around 5 years ago..

im into the atmospheric/chill out style of d&b now..

some of you know i write music too and i mainly write d&b (been signed to two labels).. lately ive been trying to do develop my own style of d&b that has a lot of trance influences (such as melodies, the breakdowns, etc)

take a listen to some of my tunes if ure intersted here

Eastern Shores would have the most trance elements in it i'd think out of the tunes on that page.. see how ya go!

DnB rules. Went and bought Goldie - Timeless...its suuuuuuuuch a gooooooooooooooooooooooooood album!!! Holy crap!

Love my LTJ Bukem n Co. though. He has got his game down pat totally. Makoto n Deeizm on the new Progression Sessions Vol. 9 are amazing as well!!

I also dig some J Majik, Calibre, Nu Tone, Peshay, Commix, Omni Trio, DJ Suv, DJ Patlife (those two's 'Drum n Bass Fiesta' CD is great fun)..

Suv woulda been sick..good to here you enjoyed it

hahaha rob! thanks for listening mate im really glad that you liked it.

was hoping that trance heads who dont usually like d&b (not sure if u did or not) can listen to our d&b tunes and appreciate it because we have so much trance influence in them..

we just finished another tune yesterday.. check it out if u want! Days Left Behind. not as much trance influence as that Eastern Shores track but i hope u like it nonetheless cos its got a huge ass breakdown in it

No problem man! You've made some great tracks before, so I knew this was going to be good. I can't really review that track now, as it's night time, meaning I can't crank the speakers, but I'll tell ya tommorow. Anyway, I sent you one of my samples, so tell me what you think!

I used to hate D&B but since listening to John B's Trance and Bass cd I have changed my mind about it. I have started to collect the Trancey sounding D&B and mixing it with a bit of trancecore.

^^ Most degrading "Drum n Bass" CD EVER!! ^^

John B should be shot, 'trance n bass' is a crock of shit and has been around for ages. Pity it sounds horribly cheesy too!!

No, John B should be made a GOD

It's Ministry who should be shot for calling the cd trance n bass...

John B - Mercury Skies <--- best DnB track ever. Period.
