i like the look of this album to be honest. although i have heard nearly all of them already i still love most em and would be nice to have an album of them together. and it might be the first time album edit's are actually a good thing heh

Posted by mcdpitt on Feb-08-2004 03:21:

will probably check this out, so many classics on one cd

Posted by beema on Feb-08-2004 07:33:

yeah, some of those planisphere songs are REALLY old
very classic stuff on there, and the old stuff has a very different sound that the usual planisphere stuff

damn! gonna order this for sure! and it costs only 9.99 + shipping! that's fucking cheap IMO! too bad there's no other CDs available on the bonzai webstore yet, so maybe i'll wait until the new airwave and push albums are released!

Planisphere - Symphotek

My god, what a haunting track. The melody during the break is simply breathtaking.

Yes, Symphotek is awesome. It's very much the Airwave-style, not?

It would be impossible to include that many Planisphere tracks on one CD. So I guess they are either edited or mixed.

Posted by TOR on Mar-30-2004 10:45:

as far as i know, they are not mixed.

but indeed, some of them will be edited.
still worth buying IMO, only 10..

not if they're all some crap 3 minute edits or something else horrible! download before buy is my opinion!

Definitely considering getting this, maybe I'll wait for the release of another customized cd.

there are 11 tracks on the cd. that does NOT mean tracks of 3 minute, but 7-8 minutes.

I think it's darker than what I'm accustomed to from Airwave. The track itself is slower and a bit minimalist - in a very good way. The long break and rolling melody does, however, remind me of Airwave's style. Great track.

Skip didn't mean literally 3mins but just terribly mutilated versions of otherwise 9-12min tracks. It should've been at least a 2-disc version with full versions instead of only 1 disc with edits.
