Anyone know what to do or where to go in Austin Tx? I hope things are not as bleak as they look...

so far it does, most of the show are being held in houston. the major ones at least. that and in dallas, but the dallas show aren't that reliable IMO. they canceled the JOOF show, and the Marco V show doesn't even show up in his tour date.

if the drive ain't that bad, houston is probably your best.

how about just a club around town? I don't mind driving to shows...been known to fly across country for those but for just popping into on a weekend.. driving 2+ hours doesn't work... sigh.. looks like it might be as bad as I feared....

Actually J00f is rescheduled for April, and Marco V will be here on Friday. I see Dallas on his tourlist dunno what list you were looking at.

well if you go to his website www.marcov.nl
choose events it doesn't show up.
2/12 at Necto Ann Arbor (USA) where to fuck is this
2/14 at sound factory bar NYC (USA)

i don't see any dallas.

also if you go to www.Anna-Agency.nl, his agent i guess, the event doesn't show. me don't know.

he doesn't come back to USA till WMC, which i hope to be attending.

Either way, J00F is happening, Marco v DID show up and if your looking for Austin event's. Take your ass, down to Alien Records (off of 5th street) and pick up some muffukin flyer's!

I go to Alien and have been since it opened, so I know where it is.. Thank you... I get most of our stuff online... get more selection and get it faster that way... don't assume the TA in training means ignorance... just because I don't post that frequently and/or haven't been a member that long, does NOT mean I am clueless or new to the scene. I had a reason for asking what I did, the way I did. Just good to think about.. you never know who you may be posting a response to.

Sky Lounge, or as it is now known, Sky View, is probably the best club to check out any DJ's in Austin. There resident DJ's are not bad. I truthfully cannot think of any other club that plays exclusively EDM on a nightly basis.
