Need help with a school project...

... for my Referat (roughly "presentation" for those of you who don't speak German) I am doing the History of EDM in Germany (East AND West) and there seems to be a huge gap in the 1980s. Besides that gap, any other help would be appreciated (Especially from those of you with a knowledge of German EDM or those of you from good ol' Deutschland )

Precursor or starter? I dunno how one would describe Kraftwerk. That being said, Kraftwerk (along with JMJ) is the reason we have EDM at all, so I have to include them

i guess people will tell you about new order for the 80s for electronic stuff, dont know about german stuff tho, try german forum maybe

what subject do you study that enables you to do EDM history as a project???

German... Advanced Conversational German (352)... we're allowed to study any aspect of German culture, and that just so happens to include German EDM, which I'm doing
