Do you think this would be a good V. day gift?

Ok, I'm planning on sending my GF a box of chocolates, some roses, and a card for Valentines day. Would this be a good gift for her? Is there anything else I should know? ANYTHING!? I'm nervous about making a bad desiscion here... I really need advice.

Make the card yourself. Even if you're not creatively inclined. Use lots of pretty colours and mean whatever you write on the inside. She'll love it.

The relationship is mainly taking place online, though there are arrangements for offline stuff(incase Stalkerboy attempts anything, Redcon, and other stuff). I really love her. And before you start calling her a 500 pound gay guy, theres a really nifty utility called webcam.

^^^^^hhhmm... Know what the best thing would be? Meeting each other in real life. If you guys got so well in an on-line relationship, it would probably mean a lot to her if you two actually met. Just give her something nice done by yourself (ie, card or anything handmade if you've got skills) and I guess this is the best thing you could do for Valentine's day. It wouldn't be expensive (spend too much money and it might look scary), yet meaninful.

Thats what 95% of people give, there is no surprise here, just get her something she likes and is some how romantic at the same time (easier said than done but its your job to find it). girls are suckers for that crap

As for this thread: At first what I was going to say is, that is a fine gift, but it is VERY cliched and unoriginal. Girls like things to be special and see that you put thought into it, unless they are run of the mill cheeseballs (which many are anyways). Also, chocolates can be a bad idea, ie "what! do you want me to get faT!@?!"
BUT
Now that I've read that this is an online relationship...lol...please. Do yourself a favor and don't start blowing money on her until you've actually met her. I'm not mocking the fact that you have an online relationship: I met my girlfriend online and we've been going out for a solid 6 months (in person). But just don't get so committed and invested in someone you really might not know yet.
