17 tracks.
thats a lotta tunes for a mix.

Posted by Slade on Feb-12-2004 04:44:

chockas innit

mixing is a bit off in places as a result, but I think it works well.

Probably the best example I could've done of a 'journey set'

It was recorded using 2 Technics 1200's, 1 CDJ1000 on a Vestax PCV175 Mixer.

For those who can't download it, and would like a copy, PM me your address & I'll be more than willing to post out a cd to you.

you don't find 17 a lil cramped?
i can only imagine how rushed it may be,
having it pitched way up from the first tune to fit it all in.

anyway, i'll grab 1 if you could be bothered sending
i'll send deets.

17 tracks in 80 mins...at least someones trying to spice things up in the amatuer prog world

Posted by Slade on Feb-12-2004 10:07:

no I don't think its too cramped at all

in my opinion each tune works into the next one really well which is probably why there are some really long mixes in this mix, and why it flows fairly well

hear it out for yourself!

Man i really enjoyed this set, funk personified with a strong driving underlying beat. Get this shit into you, and for the sydney elitist fags, try listen to something diff for a change. You know variety is spice of life.

Keep up good work slave, errr slade.
