Question Tiesto - Traffic (Montana Remix)

I've seen it on tracklists and slated for release on Magik Musik.

Has anyone heard it? Is there anywhere where we can check it out? After Montana's remix of Hertz - Recreate, I'm very interested in this one.

I'm very interested to hear this as well.
Montana has been making some stellar techno. He seems to be especially good at making really great techno remixes of mediocre, even cheesy trance songs, so I'd really like to see what he has done with Traffic.
Can anyone post a sample?

tiesto played it at innercity. The remix isnt that different compared to original. Well thats what i remember. I believe he added some delay effects.

soudns like montana alright

his remix of recreate - even though a great tune - is hardly innovative, all he did was resample the bit in the middle about 50 times to create a breakdown, then reverse it/ mess it up a little bit to create the main "melody" after that.

still a quality tune though.

I liked it alot, when I heard it at Innercity I was like OMGWTF this remix really kicks ass!! It's alot more powerfull than the original imo, oh well just my 2cents

Hmm...well, if you have any doubts as to Montana's producing ability, check out his remix of Sylver - Why Worry. Fucking SICK! And considering what he had to work with, all the more brilliant. Although it bares no resemblance to the original except for a teensy vocal sample, he still technically made a banging ass techno track out of a shitty cheese-vocal-trance tune. It kind of reminds me of Picotto & Ferri - Alchemist, but Why Worry came out long before that did, so...
He also has a kickass remix of Three Drives - Carrera 2, and his single Holla still rox my sox.

song title correction: it's traffic (montana edit)

I know i would rather see montana spin than tiesto lol, as for montana remix, it will probably be pretty wicked, and as for whoever said it doesnt have innovation because it doesnt build and drop, Its techno its not supposed to the loops and such are where the beauty is not in some overglorified synth that ruins the song, hence why techno ownz trance

they're not brothers...Montana is of Turkish descent. Tiesto is like a big brother, because they grew up together.

Yeah Tiesto played it here in Adelaide on Christmas Night. It sounds very similar, but i think it is better as if really gets the crowd going and it has much bigger / pumping buildups.

Traffic picture disc

The second half of February an extremely limited edition of Tisto's Traffic will be released. The vinyl will be a picture disc with the original track on one side and the new DJ Montana remix on the other side. Be fast with this one because only a few copies will be available

I saw it in the tracklist of Saturday Night Warmup on BBC/Radio 1 and checked it out. Sounds very close to the original, but it has more energy IMO.

If you need to hear it, just replay the show from the Radio 1 site and skip to the track (just a little annoying that you can only skip in 5-min intervals, but whatever)

Finally heard it on the Jules set.

HOLY FAAAWWK!!

As good, if not better than the original.

Interesting, I've always heard that they were "brothers". But I suppose you are correct. Thanks for making that clear.

Montana has never put out a remix that I didn't like. I need to get my hands on this remix.
