Raves Banned in Canada?
I have been hearing rumors that they are now trying to ban not just raves but rave clubs in Canada.
I haven't read about it or seen it on TV.
It is all word of mouth.
Wouldn't that suck.
There isn't many places to throw underground raves in Windsor.
That means more traveling.
Anyways I was wondering if anyone knew if there is any truth in these rumors?
If this were true id become a politician to stand up for the abuse of the charter of rights.
I dont think it can be true. Not at all
they better not...
or i'd be going on a rampage...
m-16 in city hall... that'll teach em a lesson...
well i'm sure it won't happen in a day or a year even.
its would take too much work.
they can't fight all of us off.
Thanx for the reasurance but I still won't sleep easy till I find out for sure.
hahaha
I thought only here in the US people are crazy
turns out I was wrong

well, if they really wanned to they could ban raves, like they could pass a by-law, like they did where i live, so no raves are allowed, but i dont think it will happend any time sooon. gvt generates too much revenue from raves, even if they have drug problems b/c of them
and ppl would just drive to states to go to raves, most large canadian cities are near US border and large US cities, they cant stop ppl from DANCING
Very True.
I will Dance and Dance and Dance.
They would have to shoot me to stop me.

ok, now how fckin STOOPID was it of edmonton to try pass that dumb by-law? when i heard it for the first time i thought it was a joke. i mean, cmon now, how much dope do ya have to smoke to come up with something crazy as that.
i live in new westminster, tiny vancouver suburb. our city is so stupid that they allow dances only in one neighborhood, all others are illegal.
that is soo stupid.
for the dancing bylaw in edmonton..forget raves. They can be sacrificed. What about high school..say u r 17 @ your grad, u arent allowed to dance past 12? Thats horrible. I would protest until they changed the by-law.
BTW i feel sorry for ya..
ah, thats alright, we have a shitty lil town, there prolly around 2000 ppl who live here lol
we're all connected, its like vancouver area typa shit
we all go to vancouver or other local clubs when it comes to clubbing, and the 2 clubs weve got here suck major ass anyways
oh..ok then..well @ least u can go somewhere..where is edmonchuck supposed to go? Calgary? Thats 3 hours away to hit up a club!
actually Red deer has 2 good clubs..(Catwalk and morts)
so they DID pass that stupid by-law?
you guys should revolt, or go dancing on your mayors front lawn at 4am lol
no the by-law never did get passed. BUT edmonton had a massive day-time outdoor(city hall) free party..apparently it kicked ass, DJ rap for free..I would have checked it out, but I was in Saskabush(ie butt fuck nowhere saskatchewan)
they still have their scene
To be honest, they are trying to ban raves EVERYWHERE
That is soo sad. I think i just might take up a political position on this one. Hell that guy from TO with AIDS stood up and voiced himself..now weed is legal, whats stopping me from doing the same?
Where is TO
and where is weed LEGAL!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!! i know amsterdam but no thanks i'm not movin their.
TO is toronto. And weed is legal in CANADA if u have a permit. They only give permits to people with a medical need tho. Its being said that this is the first step towards legalization.

Weed is not gonna be legalized!!!!!
It's only gonna come to decriminalization which means only fines and no jail time. the fines will start at 30 grams which is just under an
an oz. $150 for holding 30 grams any less and there is no charge.
That's what it is gonna be in Windsor anyway.
IMO decriminalized=legalized
I didnt know about the fines for amounts..but it is only for special cases..I think there are 30 people or so in Canada who are legal users.
yeah it's something like that. with that new law or whatever, doctors said it's gonna be harder to have it legalized for the patients that do benefit from it. i dunno.

that is soo true...Hospital bud will sit u on your ass. A friend stole a clipping..now hes got 2 plants for himself...he doesnt even share much!!!
I'm gonna be a janitor in a hospital like in half baked and steal weed. mmmmm
lol
just kidding for all you kids that can't take a joke. I rarely smoke up, but it would be cool to have it legal, but it's not gonna happen.
Did you know that marlboro, right now, has fields and fields of marijuana they are growing in South America just in case it becomes legal they can have it on the market within the next few weeks? it's true, i have pictures of the field.
