Collaboration

So. After reading a post in the unable to finish tracks thread I decided to make this thread for all that want to collaborate but have noone willing to collaborate with them (That they know)

I propose that in here anyone looking for collaberation posts a sample of their work, contact details and the program they are working with.

If you think its a bad ideza simply don't post and this thread will sink away and be forgotten. (Probably the best thing for any thread of mine)

OK, so me,

Name: Sloouh
Program: Floops Producer Edition 4.12
Contact: MSN: [email protected] Alternate e-mail: [email protected]

I hate stickies....

but...

well...

nevermind.

DANIEL...that sample 2 is pretty sweet!

BTW... it might help others if you can tell me this:

What exactly does each contributor bring to the table...when people team up, that is, what essentially happens to get an end result. Did Ferry Corsten provide the melody and Tiesto do all the foundation (in Gouryella) or what? Howzit work?

Posted by Mycron on Feb-15-2004 03:42:

i'm also interested in collaboration, but first, please check out this thread:

http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...threadid=160624

anyway, i use Reason 2.5 , and i like melodic, uplifting trance combined with some progressive elements...

if you would like to collaborate with me, just PM me!

or we can chat with MSN, you can see my MSN address at my sig!

Good point DA Please explain to me too! I even cant produce with my friend same time in my studio So how it works?
I think the melodie -> you add the bassline , then ... like the "mailchess"

Well, this is how we do it:
My partner laid some basic chords and sent the project file to me. I put a melody over it and sent it back. He reworked it a little, sent it back..and we keep doing like that.

Not very complicated

Hi!

I think this is a great idea.

Name: Trevor
Program: Reason 2.5
Email & MSN: [email protected] (this address works on MSN!)

I'd like to think my strong point is writing creative melodic elements and unique lead melodies. I'd love to collaborate with someone who's strong point is percussion and big sounds!!

My style seems to be very melodic progresssive.

hmmm...still never got a straight answer.

Too bad there isnt a database containing all the amateur (read -- unsigned) artists and the software/equipment they use.

This might be handy for collabort...callobor... teaming up!
