New trance set: Phéna Proxima - Dream Machine IV

Hey all,

Well, here's my Valentines Day gift to all of you: my newest mix, Dream Machine IV. I think it's pretty solid, I threw down some nice tracks in there I find the changes in mood a bit abrupt but I don't think it really hurts the mix at all. Some of the mixing is a bit muddy, and a lot of the transitions sneak up on you, but probably these are just those things that only I'll notice

If you download, you must post comments, no matter how short they are. You don't have to critique the mix (though I'd appreciate it!), just acknowledge that you gave it a listen. It's only polite

Hope you all enjoy it. I know some of you downloaded and listened to DM3 when it came out last year, and I hope that this new installment upholds the standard that volume 3 set

Hehe, I'd be careful about posting TLs with unsigned leaked versions of tracks from Amateur TA artists on it around here =P Unless of course MK-S gave you permission.

Well, I actually was thinking of that before I posted it.

I have a full copy of the track on my HD, because I dl'ed it before it was removed from the hub. I don't share that file, so I don't see what the problem should be if I use it in a mix...it's not like other DJs can use it now Still, I see your point. If MK-S gets angry about it then I'll take the mix down right away and post an edited version with Frenzy removed, along with my apologies

what about using tracks they post up in the amateur music threads in full quality for us to download and listen to? still ask for permission i guess eh? =)

i dont like asking dumb questions, but i'd rather look dumb asking dumb questions, than actually being dumb and pretending i know wtf im doin =)

If someone posts a full quality version of their tune for people to download then it's fair game; that's what the Amateur Producer *Promotion* forum is for after all. In this case though, the tune was leaked and as a result seriously damaged the chances of it being signed. I think it has been signed now and is slated for release so that's irrelevant, but still. If a record company sees that a ton of DJs are already playing it, then they'll be more reluctant to release it as it means that many less people will purchase it.

That said, I doubt MK-S will really care since at this point the damage is irreversible, however in the future I'd definitely suggest asking the artists for permission.

Back to the topic at hand, the tracklist looks pretty nice!
