Thumbs up Terry Bones & Fred Baker - Live in the UK

Some of you may already know this, but for those that don't . .

I am setting up a night in Essex and for our first night we have Terry Bones and Fred Baker booked, confirmed and well up for it !

this will be thier debut DJing performance in the UK !

the night is called '98 Returning and will be in southend on sea in essex.

i have the choice of 2 clubs at the mo, and based on the response i get from u lot here is which club i will use.
Basicly i need to know numbers !

how many of u UKTA's would come down to essex to see Terry and Fred play ?

likewise, anything south of leicester makes me feel uncomfortable but good luck to Terry & Fred on it, he's well pleased with it, and hopefully he'll get many more

I'm wondering about this one

I used to live in romford (dont ask was unavoidable if i wanted to start wroking in london) and dated a guy from rayleigh, unfortunately we once went out in south end, the regular essex wankers was all there was, not to say trace won't work out there, but i am put off by the areas clientelle.

It is also a bit of a trek, last train home to the city centre about 12.30 i think if not earlier, not to mention my buses home. unless you plan the night to go on until trains are running the next day, i dont fancy it.

the more trance mights the better, but south end doesnt really have much appeal, although grt for a pint along the waterfront in the summer if you can block out the scallies and step over the rubbish.

yer, it sorta seems like the arse of nowhere. ffs to get one night out clubbing in this country if u intend to leave the club and make ur way home when it finishes, it takes a good day and a half to do. It took less than that to go to berlin for the night and come back i reckon :/

Fair play to ye, im actually trying to set up anight here in Ireland its hard to get A DJ that is a reasonable price and is also good, ye dont want some half wit turning up that couldnt mix race in a foreign country that ye paid good hard cash for which i have seen happen i the past, advertise like mad, in local press and put flyers in record shops and all around the town
