can someone please explain to me how the heck u beat match with this program...im getting sick of traktor and i wanna start using cool edit...can someone please help me?? THANKS!

you cant with cool edit..cool edit is just for editing/recording audio stuff.

you can, but it's quite hard...let's say your 1st track has 140bmp and the 2nd 138bmp, so you have to set the pitch to about +1.5%. load your 1st tune and go to the point where you wanna start mixing, mark it with the left mouse button and press F8. load the 2nd tune, delete everthing before the point you wanna start to mix, mark the rest, press 'transform -> time/pitch', select 'resample', and 'high precision' and set 'ratio' to 98.5%...-> ok, wait -> edit/copy -> go back to your first track, select 'edit', 'mix paste', 'overlap (mix)' and 'ok'

that's it basically...hope this helps

I heard Atomix MP3 was a good mp3 dj program but thats what i heard. i never used the softwear myself since i have my own turntables

Yeh www.atomixmnp3.com is the easiest mp3 program to use however when u record your mix u lose a small amount of quality in the process... i use it for mix cdz for the car and it sounds fine!

why do u loose quaility?
