Anyone here goto KISS?

Had an awsome time. Was there for opening, was one of the last people to leave.

I went nuts when Talla played Oceanlab - Satellite

Anyone know who finished the show off? I talked to em for a bit, not sure who it was though. ;( played with akeel.

And, anyone know who the person wearing the red shirt that said 'Who's your daddy?' Stayed till it ended. Always see em in the final moments of every event.

A friend of mine went to this. He said that the music was amazing but some of the people that came out to this even were not there for the music. Some very very unfriendly. He said that Talla played an amazing set! My friend said that he was really glad that he went to this party. Anyhow, I'm surprised that so few TAs have gone to this event. I believe this is Talla's first time in Vancouver. The grand daddy of Techno-trance! I've seen him in TO so I had to skip this one due to lack of funds

That cool, I didn't know Talla played that style (its actually 'Ocean Lab - Satellite')

I had a couple friend who went. I think there was so few TAs because of the price (well for me at least). Wish I could've gone, last year's KISS was wicked. Right now though I'm be saving up for Marco V, Ferry, Armin/Above&beyond, and various vivid sessions.

I skipped Kiss in favour of Insomnia and Twisted, be sure to hit those up cause they're going to be wicked!!!

KISS was wicked. main room had wicked music, not your typical plaza fluff

i'm sure Marco V and Armin will make up for it

Almost seems to be the consensus across the board as to why there were so little TA's there.... Insomnia and Twisted. I also couldn't make this event, even though I was in the city. Last years party was amazing, I got to snowboard with Rabbit in the Moon the next day. I guess Talla doesn't quite have the following that Marco V and Armin does, but I guess that goes without saying!

Anyway, wish I could have bene there. By the way, how were the women??? I was absolutely blown away last year

Most of the hotties were in the theater room.
But yeah, there was plenty, not enough to go around, but plenty.

Had the usual raver bunnies there.

I didn't go, but from my friends, it sounded like the music wasn't that great, but the vibe apparently made up for it, so I dunno.

nah, they weren't lying.. the music wasen't that good at all. My ears didint even ring.. what a damn shame.

The sound is never that great in the PON anymore. I remember years back that place used to pound.

Was a wicked party though. Time for Vancouver to hear something other then only trance

Viva is in Richmond, at the intersection of No. 3 rd and Cambie St (if you're familiar with the bus routes, it's the Aberdeen stop on the 98 B-Line). Friday nights there are wicked, awesome prog and trance later on the in the night...both the DJs who spin there are members here (24K and dj-sean), and they bring in awesome guest DJs sometimes (Preach, for instance) and monthly residents who are also really good.

TAs can get in for free...PM dj-sean on that subject.

sounds like a blast.. not to mention the TA's gettin free.. haha. now i just gotta figure out how to get to this place (im not the smartest when it comes to directions)... and ive only been to richmond twice..
