What is a Gino??

anyone from this region heard of a Gino? or a Gina??

just want to see if it's a term specific to my region.

please dont spoil it if ou've heard about this from others, OR google for it...

The closest thing to a gino/a is guido in the US. Both terms have ethnic connotations here, but really just about anybody can be a gino/a.

You can catch gino parties in NYC at Deep and SoundFactory. Here's an example of a Gino party in Toronto:

It's basically a derogatory term for clubbers who are physically obsessed, superficial, into posing, and don't know jack about the music. There is also an assumption that they are into violence and like to have fights.

Not everybody that looks like one acts like one. Just a thought

Yeah I've always thought guido (and gino) was more of a term for people with Italian backgrounds who usually wear muscle shirts, has greased back hair, wears gold crosses, obsessed with physical appearance.

those types of guys aren't always italian anymore
