Favourite Final Fantasy

So every1 which is your fav out of all of em?

final fantasy VIII

II and III are the best by far, but either most people are too young to have played them when they were first out or people are too encapsulated by the pretty graphics from the later releases. At least that's what I've seen from similar polls, we'll see how this turns out.

Tactics comes in third.

Final Fantasy VII

Tough choice, I will have to think about it. Right now I would say it is a tie between these ones:

FF1, FF4, FF7, FF9

Love playing all 4 of those ones so hard to pick just one.

You forgot to add Tactics Advance, Mystic Quest and Chronicles to this poll :P haha, well I'd say, I've played em all except 11 and obviously 12 since that's not out yet :P But I'd say my favorites are 5 and 3j (never ever got an official English release)...

lol i knew some1 would winge i had missed some out!

Looks like VII is taking a commanding lead.. I see it as one of the best games ever made.. up there with X-Com UFO Defense and StarCraft..

To be honest, I tried Final Fantasy VI and was madly disappointed. Never touched the series ever again

Although wouldn't mind trying out the latest

I would've said VII until I played Tactics, that game blew my mind with its story and customization! so many plot twists.

No Mystic Quest in the choices?

i like 7 and 8 equally.

Hands down 7 for me Loved the chocobo racing and the battle arena, if you actually played the mini games 7 you were rewarded greatly (omnislash, Mimic and Knights of the Round).

hell ya! I don't really rememer getting Knights of the Round in the mini games though.. are you sure? (I played those A LOT!)

i think he means u had to get a gold chocobo to get knights of the round, which involved playing the chocobo racing mini game

You need to do the chocobo racing get chocobos good enough to breed the Gold Chocobo. So you kind of are playing the mini games to get Knights of the Round.

ahh.. I thought I had missed out on something.. I LIVED at the Gold Soucer.. totally my favorite place in FF7..

A Question: are the rumers that you can resurrect Aeris in the Japanese version true? And were there really that many changes from the Japan version to the Euro/USA version?

To my knowledgge there is no way you can resurrect Aeris even in the Japanese version...I could be wrong though.

The only change I know of is a lesbian scene between Tifa and Aeris.

But seriously, there might have been but I highly doubt it because they kept the same title for the American version cause technically 7 should have been four in America.

DAMNIT!! WHY THE HELL WOULD THEY TAKE THAT OUT!! The game was rated 13+ AND it had shit in it..

Oh.. and another rumor.. that there was another Weapon.. A black Weapon called Onyx.. if you look at the FMV where they all come out of the Crator you can see him (I believe)

Haven't heard that one before...gonna have to do some research on that one.

maybe someone else can shed some light on these rumors?
