Do you American's get The Office
I was wondering if any of the american's (or other nationalities actually) get the humour of the office? Its very very british humour so i was just wondering if it goes down well over there?

it plays on BBC america
ive only seen the first season but its funny as fuck

I think it gets shown late at night on Australian TV. I haven't got around to watching it yet, although I'm told it's very good.
I gave it a chance, and I thought it was the most unfunny show I've seen in a while.
so this american doesn't get it, nor does he want to get it.
but I am sure people do find it funny. rock on.
The Office is hilarious...hence the sig.
I want to see a continuation of the English soccer hooligan show that Homer Simpson was watching on PBS before Elmo tried to kill him.
It's a great concept with �legs.�
Too bad I don�t get BBC. It would be worth having for the soccer hooliganism alone.
The version of the office shown in america isnt the same as the real 1, afaik.
I missed it the first time around over here. Now I'm watching the reruns, and it fucking hilarious!! Seriously one of the funniest shows EVER! 
The Office is one of the best series I have ever seen. Dry British humor at its best.

i think only the first season passed on here so far, but it was on the 2nd channel which nobody ever watches. saw some of the re-runs on the local channel then.

we get it in Canada and I think it's funny as heck.
If you 'get it' as such, it's the funniest thing I have seen in ages. Family guy is great too i hope they do another series.

The office is great, already have the first season on dvd and will buy the second as soon as it's out. Need to rip the 2 specials though now since I finally got broadband...

I love the office, i think it is pure genius. I think the christmas specials were good too, they ended it on a real high

hell yeah the office is hilarious! for some reason it takes a while to grow on people i show it to for two reasons: a)they have a hard time understanding the accent so they miss a lot and 2)they dont get all the subtle humor, which is a shame cuz it's the best. but yeah, i dunno how well the american version will go over. i know ricky gervais is working on it with the american crew, but man....i dunno if anyone can pull off the david brent to the same calibur as ricky.
im british and i dont get it, its weird.

yeah, you might not get it because it's not in your face laugh out loud humor....it's on a subtle level, but if you notice all the little things it's brilliant!
