NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SCHOOL IS GOOD AND HERE ARE THE REASONS!!

1. everything is done for you you dont have to make major desisions like how to juggle important bills

2. you are told EXACTLY what to learn unlike uni where you kind of "do your own thing" then fail coz "your own thing" should not be gettiing drunk

3. Imaturity is rewarded by giggles from classmates rather than frowned apon when you are older

4. finding ways to "beet the school system" was fun and conciquences were lame now if you beet the uni/work/life system you get kicked out/sacked/jail

5. nine times out of ten your biggest worry is being made to look reditulus right now my biggest worry is 70,000 worth of debt on my head!

and im only 21!!! ive plenty more problems to find.
you get none of it at school and i want to go back.

enjoy the freedom while it lasts!!!!

Dude, school may suck, but at least your getting an education that you will thank your teachers for whenever you get kicked out into the real world.

Posted by mezzir on Feb-20-2004 14:40:

i 1/2 agree
its not bad, but it really sucks when you're stuck in hard classes that have ABSOLUTELY NO relevance to anything you're gonna do in life
you should be in classes to learn, not to get a grade
(unless its a pre-req for a class you wanna take, but there are always technicalities)

I can teach myself more in one day with a high speed internet connection than I ever learned from going to school for a year.

I really like school when I'm learning stuff. I enjoy learning. The part about school that I really dispise is getting busywork. The assignments that don't teach you anything, and are just a tremendous waste of the time to give you more grades in their book so the retards won't fail. I hate being in classes that would/could be really fun, but are completely ruined by a horrible teacher. I hate being forced to take classes I have no interest in that will have no application in my future life. At all.

I really look forward to college.

well i sertenly did not enjoyed 6 hours of autocad education by a teacher who doesn't knows shit about the program himself

but now... weeeeekend

depends on what kind of school you're talking about. high school sucks, i agree. but college is awesome. i wish i could just have my school paid for and rent paid for so i can just focus on going to college for the next 4-6 years, and not have to work and support myself. unfortunately my dad got married to a phony, wallet sucking bitch that doesn't even love him, so i can no longer depend on him to pay for my college, even though he told me for years that he would when i was ready to go. and now here i am at 22, ready to go to college, and i have to work a full time job so i can pay rent and save money for it. it sucks. i'm at the point where i'm gonna finally break down and look into getting a student loan. i didn't want to go that route, because i hear about ppl paying them off for the rest of their lives. my boyfriend has a 100k student loan he pays $600 a month for. yikes. but if it gets me my education, hopefully i will be wealthy enough in my career that i can pay it off w/ no sweat

moral of the story...school is good for you. get your education and be full of knowledge...and get paid i personally love learning and sitting in the classroom environment. probably because i've matured a lot since high school. i used to avoid class at all costs...

School is good mmmm kay

I am not one of the best strudents at my school and nor do i try to be, i do my own thing and sometimes that is the wrong thing. While i may hate school (with a passion) i understand the benefits that are to be had from it, i try to learn, i hate doing it, i never do homework but i understand why its there and believe that school is a good place to be.

One of the major problems i have with school however is the fact that it doesnt teach you 'life skills'. In the media recently (in the uk) there has been a lot about changing the exam system and giving people knowledge that they will actually need, for example instead of algebra it would be much more useful to learn how to do a mortgage and manage funds. I am all for that. Another problem with the UK system is how you apply to universities, you send off your application form before you have taken the tests and if you got predicted bad grades you are struck in a shit uni but then if you get 4 A grades in the tests you are still stuck in the shit uni. Anyway i'm done moaning (for now)

I know this post wasnt structured very well and probably makes no sense but i already said i suck in school

school only taught me that i'm not attractive to girls. other than that, accounting and responsibilty
