there was some loser kid talking how all these tunes that Armin played were at least 6 months old, and he was all trying to act knowledgeable about this. man who the fuck cares how old the tunes were - he put on one hell of a show, playing awesome tunes

03. Three Drives - Signs of the Universe
04. Rapid Eye ?

Posted by RJOllos on Feb-22-2004 15:55:

The tune you are refering to as 15 is Ronald Klinkenberg - Monday Groove. I had to look around a bit to figure this one out, but it definitely stood out for me as one of the best tunes that he spun. Although i think he spun this tune before Binary Finary, because Binary Finary and Blue Fear were b2b.

update

hmm...i just listened to roland klinkenberg - monday groove, it seems like a progressive track...

the 'omg' tune is really epic, and when it peaks, everything shifts to the offbeat... *shrug*

He did spin that track though ... and it was certainly my "OMG killer peaking tune MUST HAVE". Now that i think about it, it was probably track 13. I'll try to think of some other ones he spun.

I'm not confident that is a Rapid Eye track, but Scott said he thought it was and it sure sounded to me like it could be from them. I remember hearing Santa Cruz once on ASOT and it didn't strike me as being real special like their other tracks did. If this was in fact Rapid Eye, then i'm sure you are right about it being Santa Cruz.

if you need a place to host your pictures, i suggest photobucket.com

it's free, and holds quite a few pictures. just please remember to have a reasonable size on the picture when u upload it.

so that was you with the flag eh? I could tell Armin really liked that. Good move bringing that for him to sign! Would be cool to have a pick of him when he was holding it up for everyone.

Posted by RaveMedic on Apr-22-2004 12:53:

Yea that would have been cool, but it was hard juggling the camera and plus some tall asian guy tried to rip the flag out of my hand what an ass.

The remix of time is the healer was the "rock dub" remix i guess? I asked my buddy Chris (Armin played HIS ACTUAL RECORD!).

Better late than never I guess
