i always lean toward dj jean's scratching of PPK - Ressurection as the standard to which all scrathing hsould be judged. INCREDIBLE.

but back to zabi... uhh... yeah... he rocks! what DJs can put together an essential mix like this? NONE. period. all the big trance DJs have their essential mix and just play the same old shit. he sampled movie soundtracks... that's GOTTA count for something on the innovation front. now, i'm not saying 'oh my god, he sampled vanilla sky. he is the greatest' i'm just saying that no dj's that i've heard do shit like that. nor do it as flawlessly as those samples sounded. not many people would ever think to start a set off with an r.e.m track mixed into a filter track, neither of them remixed. he is amazing. DEFINITELY needs to be in the top 5 next year.

adam freeland in a recent set went to his "smells like freeland" i think thats the name of the bootleg, to the original nervana - smells like teem spirit, that takes some ballz even if he kinda messed it up while trying to do to much.

getting back on topic, ive never heard him spin, i just got his em gonna give it a listen later
