Question Ayla @ Labyrinth 2000 - again!

Hi there,

Last time I posted a track to be identified from this same set played by Ayla at Labyrinth 2000 (Helsinki), I got an instant answer. Thanks to the TA-forum users for that one!

Now I've got another one that I'd like to have identified. It is a trance track from 2000 or possibly 1999.

The sample is from the main lead part.

/Thanks to all of you taking the time trying to ID this one and other tracks.

where is the sample?

Posted by BetaFactory on Feb-22-2004 21:15:

Hmmm!

I used the upload feature, and it reported the file had been uploaded to the server and "please close this window". Couldn't find anything more to do?

EDIT: Until I solve what I did wrong with the upload, the sample is available from this URL:

Flat 6 - It's too late (Original mix). And it's not from ayla's set but from Hardwick's =)

Ayla's set broadcasted was only four tunes:
Chicane - Don't give up (Disco Citizens Remix) (Or Disco Citizens vs Tomski edit, don't remember)
Alpha Breed - Atmospheres
Sienna - Arks In Circles (b-side of Hard Evidence)
Tall Paul - Freebase

If you can't find the Hardwicks tracklist I posted here before with a different name, I can repost it too.

Thanks!

Oh, I see. So that means that Bodyshock - Full Moon also was part of Hardwick's set? I've got it all wrong then, but I guess they came after each other that night. That means Ayla's remix wasn't as good as I originally thought it to be, heh!!

EDIT: Returning from forum searching, no result. So yes, I would appreciate it very much if you could be so kind and post that tracklist again (Hardwick).

Are you Nuutti 100% sure about that track? I would say it isn't "Flat 6's It's too Late" after all...

Posted by Nuutti on Feb-24-2004 20:02:

I didn't have the list written down anymore so I wrote this from my head. Hopefully it's correctly.

Parker & Clind - Cosmos
Body Shock - Full Moon
?
Flat 6 - It's too late
Lovestream - Apacha (Goldenscan Remix)
Mea Culpa - Spiritual Light (John '00' Fleming remix)
Van M & Leeds - More (Groovejet Remix)
James Holden - Horizons
Ecano - Run (Z2 Remix)
Agnelli & Nelson - Embrace
Tribeca - Horizons
Venture - A Moment In A Time
Bismark - Reactivate
The Act - Something About You (Garry Remix or something like that)
Moogwai - Viola (Armin Van Buuren Remix)
Agnelli & Nelson - Hudson Street (Album Epic Mix)

Only one track that I don't know. Sounds like BXR label's stuff.

Let me double check..

Yes, It's definately that. Maybe you've got mislabeled mp3??

You must have a brilliant head to remember that long a list after all these years!

I wonder why I still don't think it is Flat 6. Just a feeling I got. But then after all, I also remember it was the 2nd song after Body Shock - Full Moon, so according to your list it would be Flat 6. Hmm, I'm a bit puzzled.

EDIT: Let's hope it is not the one you don't have a name for!!!

After Body Shock there was that tune I don't know and Flat 6 was after that. I'm 99.99% sure. I used a lot time to find out those tracks back then.

Why do you have a feeling it wouldn't be Flat 6??

The thing is, that I think I have that Flat 6 track on some old radio mix on a tape of mine, at least I've written it down on the folder. But maybe I've got that track wrong then instead. Man, I don't remember.

There's an other remix of that track too, wich sounds a bit different if I remeber right. Many mixtapes don't have remixes marked. Matt played the original one.

These title typos can be rather confusing. I have another example. My last "Unknown Track"-thread concerned that track "Body Shock - Full Moon", which Rebel9 identified so quickly for me (btw, thanks for that!). At first I couldn't believe it, because on the CD "Guy Ornadel's Progressive Session" which was included in a Muzik magazine I once bought, there is a Body Shock track named "Full Moon" both on the CD-folder and also inside the magazine itself. After a while I understood that there must have been a typo in the Muzik magazine, and that the track they had included in the CD-mix actually was another piece of Body Shock ("Speechless" perhaps).
