Where have all the TAs gone
It seems whenever i visit these boards its always the same conversations with a few words replaced, Its probably concievable to invent a variable system to generate posts on this forum, and thats not a bad thing persay, its just there is always an endless flow of newer members, and after a while i think people grow tired of explaining why the cheese sucks, then they start to view more and more of the trance genre as cheese, by this time many cant relate to these forums anymore, my question is where did they all go lolz,
I recognize very few names on this forum which were around when i began reading it,
So i ask, where did all those ex trance addicts go, the people who moved on to prog, techno, and so on, the ones like me who stick around once in a blue moon for a good goa/psy trance chat, where can i find my long lost posting crowd jolz
us moaning late 2001 guys are still moaning as strong as ever

(And still into trance, some of us aren't just into it cos it's cool for a few months)

Us new kids overwhelmed them, I guess. Tranceaddict is getting really big. With tons of people it's harder to catch posts from just a few. Also after a while people just kinda drift away.
most of them think theyre too cool for trance, but then they get replacied by the zombified mimions known as the pop-trancers...
so now i get to sit around each day an moan about things, woohoo.

I think more and more people are becoming disenchanted with the way trance is going (or not going, as some have put it). I look at the threads made by TiTs and I just laugh, best to not let it get you down.
the ones I really miss are those who used to respect others' opinions and taste. I've been into both prog and trance for a while. It doesn't mean the end of the world, does it?
so this is about moaning then?

i think there are still a whole lotta tas in here who have so much knowledge about trance but they dont wanna share when they see tits coming in here and asking the same questions over and over! :P
other then that the rest have retired :P

It's part of the increased exposure to electronic music that more people hence TiTs are joining, which is good of course, everyone comes in not knowing what the f*** the difference is between Armin and Rising Star, Tiesto and Gouryella, or prog and trance. We're all that way in the beginning. I found this site loving Alice Deejay and saw someone post about "Better Off Alone" and how much the song sucked, that's how I joined the forum.
The more people the merrier, it's a neverending cycle, discover-learn-adapt-enjoy. If you're proud of your music, then educate people so they can be proud as well. I still don't fully understand how some people TOTALLY move on to other genres. It's NOT part of some evolutionary process... the move from trance to prog to house... I had many friends in the beginning just as addicted to trance as I was. Most of them have completely switched tastes and don't even know that Tiesto had a concert or Ferry released an artist album. They've completely moved on. I'm still here! I've broadened my tastes to prog/breakbeat/techno/house but trance is still my number 1! The only evolution I've been going through is learning how to DJ and getting ready to start learning production!

Every time a TIT makes a post, God kills a puppy.
Or perhaps every time a noob joins TA, a custom status gets a migrane
Either way, TA is starting to suck donkey balls lately.
I guess I should be glad for growth, in the hopes the one day all the TITs will have become intelligent contributing members of society. But damn if it isn't annoying.
