ATLANTIS CANCELLED!!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Atlantis has been cancelled due to very few ticket sales.

Unfortunately James and myself also could not put in the promotion needed due to James being unwell and myself having a fucked up family.

Anyhow that's our business.

I hope that there may be another one, but I won't make any promises!!
Those that know how much hard work goes into these things would understand how hard it is to find the time to juggle work, study and personal lives and promoting your event/night.

Sorry to hear it, but at least you pulled out before you got burnt... good luck on organsing another one.

I'm very disappointed to say the least . Think it is also unfair the amount of ppl that winge about the lack of regular trance events in sydney yet when it comes down to it where are they to support what is actually put on .

Thanks for your support guys, hopefully we will organise another one, we will prob have to have breaks as the main thing and then trance in the smaller room, it's weird that we couldn't even get 250 people interested!

It's a pity you guys had to cancel it.

I know you guys had your heart in the right place but i got the feeling it wasnt really being promoted enough, handing out flyers at a few clubs and posting on websites isnt really enough these days to get your night off the ground.

As you said it was just to hard to do it with personal issues and money.

Sweetie definately don't go beating yourself up over that. Getting 250 people for a first party is no small feat, especially with quite a high ticket price.


Muli hit the nail on the head. Now days like you need to overwhelm the public with advertising. Like get in every street press 3D World, The Brag, SX e.t.c. Postering everywhere (Muli's caught me out postering), like with postering one needs to poster up all the time as they are constantly being ripped down. It's really really really hard.

Well at uni we have a forum, i could post shit there, and on the noticeboards aroud uni if i can help out.

I didn't even know about any of this since i don't browse the boards now much, im my younger days i did, but since job n uni n life commitments its been pretty hard to juggle, and im sure its like that for the rest of everyone who has personal commitments.

Anyways pm seems to work wonders, or even email.. so let ppl know more that way, would def work...

Fark...how could you sydney people not get behind this one? I remember going on a cruise in Sydney harbour a few years back with some good trance on my minidisc player. Having it live on the boat would have been sweet especially at sunset!

Ahh well we have the same lack of support up here in Brissy for the small parties.

I know, I can't think of anything better than cruising the sydney harbour while listening to trance with all your friends!!
