I noticed that much debated Passion thread is no longer here and none of my posts are even showing up in my post history? Why was it deleted? Too controversial even for CHill out room? Just curious.

I was thinking the same thing. There are a lot of religious nut jobs in the world and on these boards. All of whom haven't even seen the movie so they should IMHOP STFU.

Yeah, I'm getting a bit sick of it myself. I won't be going to the theater to see this because I refuse to support the "hype" and "controversy" this country seems to be infatuated with recently.

This movie was hardly even advertised yet everybody knows about it and wants to see it because of how much controversy its stirred up.

The Passion of the Christ is a new highly controversial movie by Mel Gibson that comes out this thursday around here. Its something like 12 hours of events before his crucifixtion or something.

it was originally supposed to be titled "the passion" but some movie company already has ownership of that exact title for later development.
