3rd Rock vs. Dr. Phil

I can't believe it! My local T.V. station has replaced the late-night comedy goodness of 3rd Rock From the Sun with lame-ass Dr. Phil.

I mean cmon, I don't really want to see other people talk about their problems on national t.v., I'd rather watch Harry make an ass of himself. Oh well, what can you do?

Fox shows syndicated comedies in a big block every weeknight at 11pm here.
Used to go like this:
Simpsons > Drew Carey > Fraiser > 3rd Rock

I LOVED it!
But now they replaced 3rd Rock with...of all things...MASH!
So fucking pissed off

Drew Carey and Frasier are boring shows imo. I never liked the lame jokes of drew and frasier is a bit too "chauncy".

for me, comedies go:

futurama > simpsons > friends > southpark > family guy > seinfield

I wasn't mentioning them in order of my favorites, I was saying what time slots they came on for that block of shows.
If I had my choice, we would have cable in this house and I would be watching Adult Swim and wouldn't be having this problem!

Not when you got futurama and family guy back to back in the same time slot. Then a healthy dose of anime. Conan is great but I can watch his show on comedy central the next day.

i hate dr phil, my mom likes him. we always argue heatedly over him. she usually says, "he tells them what they need to hear, the truth about their problems"
of course the obvious response is the fact that dr phil spends 5-10 minutes with each 'problem' that he 'solves' which makes no sense. if the problem brought them to national television i highly doubt it can be solved in 5-10 minutes. hes such a whack job who just made it because EVERYTHING that is on the Oprah show becomes succesful, everything. its pure obbshiesen!!! <
