Hmmm... good job Richard.

That percussive ride sort of sample that has the rhythmic pattern 'long, short-short', take the reverb off it. I like how sharp it sounds, but the reverb (or whatever) makes it sound like someone's playing pingpong.

The bottom end needs to be thicker too methinks, but that could just be my computer. Sounds like you've got it compressed well. Maybe too well. I don't know... Have a look @ that.

Those are my suggestions. Again, good job.

nice job Rich

couple of things you can add one: vocal samples will feet properly
some atmospheric stubbs on top of your melody part and also some drums percussions will do be awesome as well

overall it is an awesome work.....

First of all~~
Im new to TAs and i have no idea how Djing or producing works
But dude..this IS a great tune~!

at first i didnt expect it to be at the level of other professionally produced tracks i download from kazaa...
but as i listened on.....i totally forgot it was a sample posted by an amatuer(!?)(non-professional if you prefer) and i had my head nodding while i was browsing thru the forums!
Good Job Richard~

Kudos to you for being able to do that. its way better then I could do.

sequenced very well.
sounds are amature - obviously you prolly didn't use any hardware, or perhaps very old or inexpensive hardware.

the bass line only has 2 notes though B and D - and i find it very hard to create a whole song around only 2 notes - so you did a good job doing that with your various melody layers.

rhythem is good
beats are good with variety
good luck - you are on the right track

for an amature I rate it 8/10
for a professional I rate it a 2/10 - sorry was that not nice or is that ok

your main riff has got potential... keep building around it. but the sound that comes in at 7:53 ( i dunno how to describe the sound.. i hope you know what i mean, =P... its kind of like a muffled growl?) is really out of place... it sticks out like a sore thumb... just my opinion.. keep up the work, =)
