Be Cool! Upload your patches here

sorry that I am not contributing here, but wouldn`t it be nice to have a "sticky" were people can upload and download there own patches for different synths and VSTi right here:

Well Im not finished with these for the Pro-53 synth but heres an mp3 demo (in a zip file) of what Im working on..

http://www.insanegamers.net/dj-rob/...0mp3%20demo.zip

^ made with 100% pro-53 (and fl fx)

Heres a sound i made with vstation..
http://www.insanegamers.net/dj-rob/...on_thesound.mp3

and the cubase bank file for it..

Good Idea I think, since alot of people here are good sound designers

As Zero states, there's a time when you LEARN to do it yourself...if you think you'd like to upload a patch here I think its only suitable to tell HOW you made the patch and explain all the major settings from waveform used to effects added.
That way, in a month from now when your link doesnt work at least people can generate the same basic sound and actually LEARN from the contributors here!

Just a thought.

excellent me too!, I am currently at the stage of designing the database (mysql) i have most of it planned out in my head at the moment, initially i will require a *lot* of help adding synth brands and models into the database based on what users submit, i have the method for this all worked out (they obviously won't need to submit a "new, unknown" make/model if the one they are after already exists), so over time we will build quite a large database of synth makes and models which is very cool also.

the site will by no means be small time, i'm aiming to make this the definitive site to d/l and post patches, also the design is by no means planned yet but i have ideas in my head, i dont want to make it graphically intensive or anything like that, it will be something similar to the style of www.discogs.com

you can find me on irc.solarstar.org #chat i should be online under the nick 'dave' just give me a shout if i'm around

well I am going to be pretty much doing the entire thing from the ground up on my own, this will create a very solid foundation

once i get a working model up i can see where we go from there!

one thing i may definetly need help with would be adding synth makes and models into the database from user submissions depending on how many people submit patches we could get quite a lot of submissions of course anyone helping in this area will be credited as part of the team.
