Numark PPD01 Vs. Vestax PMC-270A

Hi!
I'm really a newbie when it comes to mixing..

But I've found an intresting offer.. A guy is selling the two mixers written above for a price of about 430 Euro each.

So..what mixer should i choose and why?
And is the price fair? (they have only been used at home he says)

Ps. I think I'm going to start with mixing mp3s at first.. And if i like that, I'll go on and buy a pair of turntables. The mixers work with my computer right? Ds.

It will work, but you need specific software, and *maybe* two soundcards (not sure). Other people do it, but seems like it's a pain in the ass to set up.

Yes..two soundcards will help if I want to listen to two different streams And I also have the Traktor software..

I know many ppl are a bit against mixing mp3s, but I hope u understand i dont want to spend to much money at first..
Anyone of you who can recommend mp3-mixing?

Does the PPD-01 cost 399.99 USD new? In that case, i should really try to lower the price...

The PPD-01 seems to be a bit more popular...I've read throw some reviews..

traktor 2x works wit an external mixer

One thing about the PPD...If you're gonna use it for skratching...don't even try. This mixer, even though it says that it's built for skratching, will not handle the abuse.

However, if you're just str8 mixing and production, I think it's dope!
