MICK BOSKAMP LEAVES PLAYBOY FOR ID&T
After having worked for the Dutch edition of Playboy Magazine for 21 years, editor, nightlife reporter, author and radio presenter Mick Boskamp (47) is going to work for ID&T from 1st of April. Boskamp is appointed as chief editor at ID&T Media, responsible for the editing departments of ID&T's media platform consisting of ID&T Magazine, ID&T.com and ID&T Radio.
"In the early 90's I got myself another hobby," explains Boskamp.

"House music! And that hobby got a little bit out of hand really quickly as, besides the work I did at Playboy, I also started to write about the feeling I had with this new movement at that time. In the meantime, dance has grown up with ID&T playing a trend setting role. To work on the further expansion of ID&T's media department is a great challenge for me."

"I lived a double life in the past 10 years really; as editor at Playboy and as a professional fancier of dance. That's why I see this new job as something as if it was hand made for me. Honestly, I can only think of one company where all my interests come together: ID&T."

Duncan Stutterheim from ID&T: "With his expertise and years of experience in the field of life-style and dance, Mick is a strong force for ID&T Media. I know Mick as a professional fancier and foremost as a journalist who dares to explore the boundaries".

Wat dit moet brengen weet ik niet. Mick heeft iig goede muzieksmaak.

Mick heeft samen met DJ Eric de Man al maanden (vanaf week 1 van ID&T tot de laatste dinsdag van 2002) lang een programma gehad op ID&T (VIP Sessions). Ik heb alle sets en regelmatig kwamen bonzen uit de progressive scene daar een interview geven (Harry Lemon, Digweed, Sasha, JunkieXL, etc)..

Dus zo nieuw is dit niet

Like i don't know, hij heeft ook een show op radio 3fm nu.
Maar het is iemand die ik niet snel op die functie bij id&t zou zien.

Maar ik vind dit wel positief!
Die Mick Boskamp is niet zo'n persoon die van (komtieweer) Kauwgomballentrance of hardstyle houdt. Meer progressive muziek etc. Dus maybe is hij diegene die Duncan zijn hersens wat kan beinvloeden zodat ID&T eens wakker wordt.

Of willen we dat wel? Is dat wenselijk, dat ID&T ook die sectoren gaat verkutten?

Van Mick begrijp ik deze stap niet zo goed eerlijk gezegd.... wie gaat er nou weg bij Playboy?!

Wellicht wel positief voor de inhoud van het ID&T Magazine, want laten we eerlijk zijn, dat is momenteel DRAMA. En mocht Mick zich gaan bemoeien met de line-ups van ID&T feesten dan kunnen er ook leuke dingen gaan gebeuren......
