Your Favorite James Holden Track
Hello all...
I like to take a wittle vote on everyone's fav Holden track. I'm curious to see the results. And yes, I'm sorry, you only get one choice...
And just a quick plug for my radio show: This coming Tuesday from 10pm to whenever I'm done, ELECTROPTOPIA Presents The Ode to James Holden on www.sju.edu/wsjr. I'll be playing every Holden track I've got my hands on and I'll be leaving his best for last. Hope you tune in...

i like pistolwhip, break in the clouds, and bloodlock...but i am extremely biased in this one since nothing (93 returning) is my FAVORITE SONG EVER. i listen to this song literally once a day and i have yet to get sick of it!!
gotta go with nothing man... one of the best tracks out there...
bloodlock
I vote for Nothing. What a demented track.
Im gonna have to go with Holden & Thompson - Nothing (93 Returning Mix)
How come Holden - The Wheel wasnt an option
likewise voted for nothing...err i mean Nothing
you forgot New Order - Someone Like You (James Holden rmx)

my top on the list would go like:
1. Sasha - Bloodlock
2. Holden & Thompson - Nothing (93 Returning Mix)
3. Holden - A Break in the Clouds
BUTTTTTTTT..... I have so many memories of Kirsty Hawkshaw - Its a Fine Day.... i was listening to it when i was depressed in high school years and going through hard times.... so.... i voted it as my favorite
... it will almost be... you know what i mean... its sometimes about which tracks bring the most memories and which aren't the "best" produced. ^_^
Holden's Patch Out and Pacific was left out also.
nothing (returning 93 mix) is definitely my fav, but its so hard to pick my favorites that come after that, all of his productions are really good. i guess i'd pick janeiro, fine day and bloodlock.

Horizons
Horizons is what defined Holden as a producer and in my eyes he hasn't really moved on from that track since. Give me something fresh please. Very talented but give me something else.
I prefer the Hiver & Hammer Remix over the 93 Returning Remix of Nothing.
Nothing is the most knowns obviously lol but Solstice is the true gem out of all of those.

I'm a big fan of I Have To Put Out The Light. Nothing (93 Mix) is good, but it was played out. A Break In the Clouds is good too, but it has too much of an ambient feel to it.
