Common topics on the producer forum *lo*

Since I am here on this forum for a long time, I just thought about. that things haven't changed much within years. Always the same topics:

1.

A:I want to make the ferry / Tiesto / Armin / Cosmic Gate Lead sound
B: Try to get your own style.. not use everyone elses"
A: When I learn how the pro's sounds are made, I can improve in creating my own style.
B: Just tweak around with your synth. You learn much doing this !

2.
A:[ showing a perfect high end supersynth made with software ]
Sounds cool, hmm ?
B:Can I have the patch please ?
A: No I don't give my patches away !
B: Can you tell me how to achieve this sound.
A: No it's a secret !
C: I can tell you all ( gives a tutorial for everyone )

3.
A:Can anyone give me a linkt where I can download the full version of xyz ?
B: No wXarez Discussion here !
C: You really should buy xyz, it's worth the money.
D: Pm for details
E [ mod ]: thread closed.

4.
A: I am new in production.
B: Use the search function.
C: Yes use it.
D: [ explains the whole story again and again, how you start producing ]

...

lots of more

5.

A: this xyz sequencer is so much better than that zyx one
B: No way it is, zyx has support for yadiyada and lots of other formats (wich you never use anyway)
A: That doesn't matter, I have no really good reasons for why it's better but xyz still is.
C: hey guys let's not fight about this, in the prostudios no one ever use thoose two anyway, they always use the new "ultra supercool mega mastodont supersequencer 5.0"

Or the old favourite -

A: Whats better hardware or software?
B: Hardware
C: Software
B: No, Hardware is much better
C: Etc, etc

yeah, that's one of the reasons I don't show up here as often as I did. Have found forums with much better questions and answers.
This forum also tends to attract alot of newbies, which is bad IMO because they can't add much information...

Well, it's sad, thank god I have some other more decent forums to turn too!

A: How can I get the Rank 1 Supersaw with the VST xblabal Synth .
B: VST xblabal Synth sucks. You can't get a high quality Rank 1 Sound out of it.
C: You're wrong. Listen to my demo mp3 [ C posts a totally crappy sound ]
D: @B: It depends on the user and not on the machine what the result is. Don't blame the machine. You can achive everything if you know what you're doin'. ( switches on his JP8000 ).

Well, I visit this forum a hell of a lot, but the reason I don't post so much is because I usually don't think I can add anything worthy to the discussion.

Anyway, here's something that pops up now and again...

A: Does anyone have the acapella for Random Song A?
B: No, it doesn't exist.
C: Yes it does! It's on the vinyl!
B: Well I don't have it.
D: pics or stfu!
C: How can you take a picture of an acapella?!
D: pics of teh vynel u n00b!!!11
A: It doesn't matter I recorded my sister singing it.
B: WTF?!

Well, I don't mind newbies joining as long as there is good information on the forum. But it seems that all the pro's have gone away and only the newbies are joining...

which means there is something to learn here.

ofcours there are loads of the same threads with dozens of newbie questions (the search function should be highlighted in bold, red, fontsize 100), but there is also a lot of more advance stuff (well at least for me )

funny thread btw
