Whenever I enter a search I always seem to get a million random results. Also what does the search button under peoples posts (next to their profile) really do? Just search for all that persons recent posts and display them?

You can specify if the search should look in the entire thread or just in the title. Also try restricting search to one subforum.

Search button under the posts shows all posts by the user.
