Tiesto is the MASTER

Downloaded his live set at amnesia, 07/29/03, wow. Has anyone else heard this set?! A work of art. Im curious, does anyone have the lyrics for his song with skin? Ten I think its called, or lying? That is my FAVORITE SONG right now, by far. His newest works are re-capturing my love of trance, traffic and ten and his remix of die another day and adagio for strings are AMAZING. I know there are a lot of tiesto haters on this board, so please no "tiesto sucks" or "I can do what he does" and all that crap. If you can do better, go do it.

it's an alright set, but if you want one of tiesto's recent MASTERPIECES, check at tiesto live at revloution 8-11-2003... i think his best set from 2003 for sure, one of his best in a WHILE

U have it all wrong about people hating tiesto on this board it's just anyone who has ben listening to trance for a long time know how much better tiesto was in 2000 and 2001. Ever since he's got big and famous he's lazy and half arsed he can play mint sets still but a lot of the time he is fucked out his mind and doesnt try and that is shameful for someone who's supposedly the worlds best dj.

Considering he "doesnt try" hes still the best! Thats amazing if you ask me. PVD is close, but sometimes i cant figure his sets out. Tiesto is much more fluid. Ive seen him 3 times, at 1015 and mezzanine, and hes just awesome. Maybe he wasnt better, maybe the music was just better. I like old trance best, it had to change, but i like TE 2000 the best of all time. Compare that set to todays! Sheeit. Oh yeah and whos third? Armin? Please. If it werent for tiesto, trance would be dead, for me at least. I have 97 of his mixes now, PVD a close second with 13. Go figure.

you actually liked this set? it was the first and only Tiesto set i have deleted off my comp. it did nothing for me

whatever every time i see him he's the worst dj of the night by a long way and as for tiesto being more fluid that pvd what planet are u on, tiesto sets are tune he likes picked at random and then mixed shitly now whereas in 2000 he had some structure but not anymore

Tiestos sets are WAY bette than PVD! Look at PVD live at TE 8/10/03, what the hell was he on? You cant mix styles so badly, it just sounds horrible! Thenn you have his mix from WMC last march, its all breaks! Hes a trance dj! Im a big enough fan to say PVD is fucking awesome, but i still think tiesto is better. The other thing to remember is you might like his harder sets, and he never seems to anymore Look at his 2 gatecrasher mixes from 02, good energy, then his in 03 was horrible! I really wish i could see him at innercity, he always plays a good set there. Here in the states, his sets are always housey

Id have to agree, this set sucks. But i like to collect his sets and this set also has candesco in it so im keeping it

I never heard a tiesto set... but I agree he suck... the only track that is good from him is lethal industry... I really don`t know why he is the N� 1... sorry is this is no the anwser you are looking for..

I'm not a huge PvD fan... but for fucks sake, get a clue. PvD doesn't ONLY play trance, and a good DJ always always always explores new, different genres instead of playing the same old shit. Not that PvD isn't guilty of that a lot of the time, but at least he's experimenting. His 3 hour xxl set from last feb was fantastic.

Besides, just because a DJ might decide to try something different in one damn radio set doesn't automatically nullify all his other performances playing his staple sound. You need to learn to enjoy some variety.

Where can I find these supossed awesome Tiesto sets?

Tiesto OWNS, he's the greatest. PVD .....

Don't know about "master" but my mother thinks he looks like a decent man!

She actually watched the first 15 minutes of the TiC DVD.

tiesto is awesome, and what an entertainer omg.

My favorite sets from him would be his essential mix (dont remember when), this Tiesto In Concert set and Trance Energy 2000
