Producing on a powerbook

im thinkin of gettin a powerbook for college, is it possible to produce on it? if so what the minimum GHZ and memory I would need?

most likely running Logic, maybe Cubase.. or maybe even Garageband was playing around with it at the apple store, its pretty nice

dont worry about sound, im planning to buy a USB (maybe Audiophile USB, if anyone has any cheaper recommendations please feel free)

Yes, you can produce on it. Try and get a firewire card. G4 would be nice if not G5. I wouldn't go below a G4. Go for logic if you're running a mac.
