some dude from japan has been trying to hack my computer

goddamn it, dont people have better things to do. this guys been trying to get in 62 times. my firewall tells me about this shit, and its annoying.

anyone know something about computers? can i possibly get back at this guy, since i have his IP?

The firewall should tell you the IP of the attack; look up the DNS of the IP, find out who the ISP is from that, and notify them at [email protected].

Also, it may not necessary be a hacker from Japan, but a hacker proxying through a hacked box there.

Yes that's what I was thinking too. Things arent always what they apperar to be. Also it might be a person just "port scanning" if that is the case then it's nothing to worry about...

To gain another computer to hack others with. Hackers chain through a whole bunch of computers, relaying information between them so that they can't be traced when hacking something important.

some personal computers are on huge pipelines. which means large bandwidth at their expense.



prolyl a tard scanning any range he can. as long as your blocking the hits it doesn't matter.

just watch out for unusual space lost and slowing of download speeds.

does windows have the same port numbering system as UNIX??

i.e. telnet 23, ftp 21

port numbers were created as a way of standardizing networks, bro... so port numbers are the same everywhere that uses them... they weren't created "for" windows at all.

that's great, i know their usernames and their MAC addresses.


as for the MAC address, i can emulate that with a router and use that to hack something else through the uni network, and they'll be the ones to blame because that MAC address is registered under their uni username.

ping attack the source ip. it is probably a proxy that the git is using but it should take it down if u use udp packets or something.

take it down, then the l337 h4x0r will have to find more proxys to hit u with.
