question about ROXY

i was there for pvd, but i was wondering what it was like on fri and sat nights, does anyone know if they play trance or is it pretty much a mix of music. because i checked the website and it says they have dance nights for fri and sat, i was just wondering if it sucked or not. underground shit can be pretty cool sometimes granted its in the trance/techno/DnB genre...

Um, Saturdays is gay night at Roxy... Fridays I really dont know about... they probably try to book some sort of dance DJs.

they used to have a "sexy" party at the roxy every friday nights. it was pretty good. house music with johnny viscious. the party ended a while back hence it's not a weekly thing anylonger. i think they cater to hip hop music of friday night nowadays.

saturdays are gay nights
on fridays, it is rented out (or used) by various promoters, so it's usually a different kind of event,music,crowd,etc each week
definitely check listings and boards before you go

the sexy at the roxy party was pretty awesome, and the girls that went to that party stuck to the sexy part. what a hot crowd
