I dont have a keyboard or any of the stuff to even hook one up to my computer, what's the best way to make my own midi tracks for use in cubase? (yes I know.. probably too advanced for me, but I'm stubborn and fruity loops annoys the hell out of me)
Thanks in advance
Im not a cubase expert, but to make a midi track for use in cubase?
why not just edit the notes in the key editor thats with cubase...
If u want a midi sequencer search for one on google, then u can import midi tracks into cubase..

Create a midi track. Get the pencil tool and draw in an empty midi file (just click and drag). Use the normal pointer tool and double click on the empty midi file you have created. This should open it up in a new window. Use the pencil tool to draw in the notes where you want them.
When you're done, set the loop markers to the start and end of the midi file (the blue ones in the black marker above the sequencer window). Then File --> Export --> Midi File
