DJ Tiesto - In My memory (I have it allready)

I just downloaded this new CD from DJ Tiesto, haven't listened to it yet, but I wonder if anyone else downloaded it yet, and what you guys think of it??

in my memory

the cd is great! that chick from k's choice is one on of the songs, and i think sarah mclachlan is on the cd as well. urban train is like 2 min shorter but all in all: tiesto's first cd kicks ass! nuff said.

Great edition of one of the top djs TIESTO, I am already hooked on the first song, called Magik Journey. Wow I am really impressed, can't wait to get it at my local record store as soon as it gets there hopefully in half a month.
Peace.

Confused

Great album, some of the tunes are in MONO and it sucks.
To be exact they are
2. Close to you
5. Obsession
9. Suburban train
And one more thing that sucks is that Urban train is a radio version, it'd be better if it was full uncut original mix. Fuck...
oh well I still like the albuma lot so far.

great unique album!!!
im in love with the first track - magik journey (it has an amazing build-in and lot of emotion)...
i hope transa will remix it

and i think i have "close to you" in stereo...

Posted by Blik on Aug-11-2001 17:55:

I actually don't like it, it's way to chill, no basslines and stuff, the hardest track on it is Flight 643, which off course is a great track. I actually like 3 tracks, the Flight, The train and the track before The Flight.............the rest I found a bit disappointing

Oh i see then, I'll download it from some other source and see if it's in stereo.
Yes, Bilk the majority of the album got very chilly vibe with female vocals and stuff but it's all good I like it.

Smoking ..umm..something HEY

hey....! i have the album in my hand and i actually like it alot. i was rather surprised that Tiesto went w/ the chilled styles rather than opt for his usually strong bass line tech-trance. but nonetheless i like it

well... i was the person who ripped the CD so if it happens to be in mono, sorry about that... all i did was ripped/encoded the CD and sent it off to a friend who's part of the ripping group.. so my bad!

umm... sarah mclachlan does not do any vocals for this CD..
02. Close to You --> vocals by Jan Johnston
04. In My Memory --> vocals by Nicola Hitchcock
06. Battleship Grey --> vocals by Kirsty Hawkshawn
10. Close To You (Magik Muzik Mix) --> vocals by Jan Johnston
11. Urban Train (Marc O'Tool Main Mix) --> vocals by Kirsty Hawkshawn

i also thought that some of the tracks such as Close To You was extremely like Chicane.... but such a versatile tune that im pretty suer it would get good airplay even w/ the semi-pop radio stations, no? i guess...let tiesto expand his horizon? lol

What do you think about the track obsession?? I juat LOVE it!! The best track I've heard for a while. I was in Ibiza three weeks ago and checking Tiesto live. And there was one track that i couldn't find and i was on my mind for three weeks. So i wonder who could have done a track like that?? Then off-course it was the man himself. I Just say TIESTO RULES!!!!

Hi again! Where can i find the cd covers anyway?
I'll be thankful for a quick answer from somebody!

Posted by XxClayxX on Aug-16-2001 11:39:

I think the cd is ok.

It is a little to chill for me. But each time I listen to it I like it a little bit more.

and yeah if anyone can come up with the covers for this I would be very happy

dunno why it was 2 slow for me..

hope you guys enjoyed it.. :-)

a great album by a great dj/producer,track 4 (in my memory) is by far the best track in my opinion.it's sweet mellow chillax kinda song.i love listening to it after a whole night of hard banging tune at a club.and it's a great tune to listen 2 while making out wiht a gurl

Posted by Capo on Aug-19-2001 02:19:

have any of you heard either of the isos's that he has put out. isos 2 is by far the most relaxed cd that i own but it is one of my favorites, the tracks just roll into eachother until the cd is over. if this is what the cd is like it sounds like you guys are more accustomed to his live sets which are completely different than when he enters the studio. anyway thats it for now.

Posted by Galaxy on Aug-20-2001 13:04:

for me, i have to say thumbs down. just didn't like it. it's disappointing too, because i was really looking forward to it. sorry tiesto, just my opinion.

Posted by hypronix on Sep-02-2001 10:00:

well Blik mostly that's why I personally like it. B/c of the chiil.
But every1 has his own likes..even when it comes to trance!

Close to You and In my memory are great! Always make me think of my g/f (well, what doesn't? )

Posted by boy_luke_y2k on Sep-02-2001 11:20:

Cool

i've got most of the tracks so far but it would be better if he put some of his remixes on it.

Any experience on that TranceScend?...
I like Urban Train, Flight 643 and Magik Journey the most..

Yeah I agree with the otha peeps sayin "In My Memory" & "Close To You" are the best traxx... It's a good album, it probably could have been better, but i'm not that disappointed
