No Cameras/Backpacks @ Ultra?!

This thread on ClubPlanet mentions that the flyer says no backpacks or cameras? I could live without the backpack stuff but not letting you bring in a cam to take some pics really sucks...

Also, no cams @ space?

No backpack or video recording devices will be permitted

I dunno........

Video recording device might only pertain to camcorders. I'm going to bring my deposible camera.

last year we were not 2 bring in any kind of bad, we couldn't even take in our purses!!! Your best luck is wearing cargo pants and sneaking in a camera like that. Last year I snuck it in in my hair.

Yah, well you know where there is a will there is a way. There's all kinds of way to sneak cameras and other contraban in. If your with a group of people you can just chuck shit over the fence or even plant it in a tree the night before.

Yah, if you do get searched "down there" at least you'll enjoy it, you'll miss out in pictures but get a feel.

Digital cameras might fall into that video recording devices catagory as many of them can record video as apose to taking hi res pictures.

Last year so many people brought in digital cameras... and they said no cameras. The no back pack rule sucks ass though. They want you to come to an outdoor event, in hot weather... and stay in the same clothes all day? Plus last year there was a quick rain that made everything muddy. Everyone headed for the one tent... and the DJ at the time thought he was probably bringing the pain.

i dont know if any of you remember but last year a lot of people did get in with back packs and stuff... i presume they just tossed it over the fence after 1 person got in.

they are not going to have time to check everyone...

maybe in the beginning, if you get there right when it starts they will be checking everyone. I always get there around 1 or 2 pm and by that time, it�s sort of chaos and they are just concerned w/ people having tickets and not trying to sneak in and stuff like that. they probably don�t want backpacks there, but they know they can�t enforce that on thousands of people, so they put it on the flyer anyway, hoping to scare a lot of people from bringing one, thus, decreasing the number of people with backpacks. I�m gonna try to bring a small one in. if you're gonna attempt to bring one, i'd NOT put any drugs in it...they might let you in with one, but they'll search it.

yea that is a good idea too. last year, all the "guards" were these big jamaican ladies that barely spoke English and I doubt they gave a crap...

I've brought my digicam in before with no questions asked. video is thier main concern.
