how strict are they about IDs at MANSION, and space?

I was wondering how lenient they are about IDs at space and mansion (level?). I would like to purchase the tickets for armin's show on monday, in advance, but i wanna know what the chances are for me to get in. I have my brother's real ID (expired) but i have his credit card which hasn't expired as yet. so i guess i could use this as backup

what do u think the chances are?

yeah don't bother cus any half decent door guy should notice and expired ID and not allow you in. Also if he wantedto be a dick and you showed him the credit card as back up and it's not yours either...could be trouble for you

i must agree with what has been said so far. I'm not yet 21 and I haven't attempted space, unless you feel like making an ass of yourself infront of a shitload of people and a bunch of cops, i wouldn't recommend it...

and mansion... I went once to see Armin and they told me i couldn't get in. Wasn't even allowed on the sidewalk in front of the club!!! I was lucky that Armin got me in... but that was pure luck... Even then the chances are very very small....

What about international ID's ? Do those work ?

unless you are a very attractive (underaged) chick, and with a big group of people that are getting a vip table, your chances of getting in ANYWHERE in south beach are slim to none. they are super strict... and not only do the bouncers have to deal w/ ppl who ARE 21+, but they have to deal w/ the underaged ppl w/ fake i.d.�s tryin to get in, so they have NO patience for this stuff and will embarrass the crap out of you. unless you are on a guest list and with a big group of people, you won�t get in anywhere.

I'm gonna have to disagree with everyone else..... although i dont recommend to buy the ticket in advanced just in case you dont get in. But you should definetley try to get in. its worth a shot.... And i have a TON of friends who have gotten into Space with fake IDs with no problem even in big nights like PVD and other big events... and its not like they look old, they just have a decent ID (its not even that good). About level, i havent been there in a long time so i dont know how they are..

yea, that's because it's SPACE...they let the toothless crackwhores roaming the streets in that club w/ all the goldrush strippers too. space is crappy now, but they still bring in all the major acts...

Crobar, Opium Garden/Prive', Mint...those are the ones who won't even consider you unless you are waving a credit card/i.d. in the air, or unless you roll up in a ferrari.

this I DO agree with... for the past several years during wmc, I've had some underage girls with BAD fakes in my group, and ALL the girls usually waltz right in without even getting ID'd, except at Space when they glance at it. Opium Garden has never carded anybody except the main ticket buyer (me) and occasionally the guys in the group.

First and foremost, DRESS NICE. If you show up in baggy pants, tennis shoes and a Tshirt they might not admit you anyway, and they'll definitely be strict about carding.
One trick I suggest is to get together with a large group and buy your tickets together.. I usually go with 5 or 6 people and I've bought all the tickets online beforehand, so I've got like me +5 and I just say "these 5 are with me" and usually they're just waved through. not guaranteed, but it's gotten many underage people into clubs before
