Need advice on midi keyboards...

i have an M-Audio 61 keyboard..but at my job they got a keyboard that has lots of drums,synths etc...even tho they dont soound pro...but it has a midi out put controller...it has a screen where it shows the notes when you play them...was thinking i can learn music this way...is the midi as powerfull as a regular midi controller???

that keyboard cant be too expensive and the ability for it to show the staff and the notes is pricelss

i reccomend getting it just for that and u can take it on the road and make melodies too. jsut dont use its sounds for trance hehe

If you're using it to control software, then I would recommend you get something that has dials on it to control softsynths. Makes it a lot easier to automate stuff as well.
