Jp 8080 software

hi folks.
my question is if exist a software or Vst instrument can emulate the famous jp-8080??

over and over we see this post, but its ok here..

Its a free vst, mainly based off the jp8080, you cant emulate any hardware perfectly, theres always that fine difference between hardware and software. u can pretty much get jp sounding sounds out of alot of vsts, pro-53 i know can do some wicked stuff.

Thats all, do a google + forum search if u havent already.

nope

No. There is no JP8080 Softsynth Emu.
But the SuperWave8 I believe is the known to be a knock off of the 8080. Personally I get better results out of the Pro53 and Synth1 for the supersaws than the Superwave 8. SW8 is free and worth the download IMO.

Or you could download some 8080 samples. First Wave has a nive supersaw sample.

Unfortunately it has an extremely unclean sound, in my experience at least.

Hey, Yes ive done the GUI for this. This vst is a project between myself and extalin. Its actually going to be our "tester" vst where we can test our code and make sure that we have a good solid architecture for our next vst.

We hope to have something available soon to let you all test out!

The gui looks great...

I wish that roland would release a jp emu vsti. Imo the jp is a bread and butter synth. It is capable of everything. Not saying it's the best for everything. I use the superwave and when I first started using it I thought he pads sound a lil jpish...

i believe Malstrom in Reason is supposed to be an emulator of the JP in the same way that the Superwave is.

How did you guys get into vst programming? I wouldn't mind learning, but only know java and c Are there any tips and directions you can point me in?
