Tomcraft is ranked at 136 of the top 200 world class DJs. Loneliness is a nice tune. Plus his mayday 2003 performance was nice! All I can say is that if the price is right I'm definitely not going to miss this one!

This is right before the twisted AVB and A&B event!

This would be interesting, he plays quite an different style which would be good, but man his is a horrible technical DJ. some of the worst mixing I've since since Oakey and Tiesticles.

But I'll probably still make the road trip cuz it's my birthday weekend.

Yes, i have heard numerous mixes....his trance energy mix of last year infront of some odd 30 000, was pretty slick..not to mention about 5 sets of his i have where the mixing is spot on and track selection is steller. Not to mention the box full of productions and remixes he has done.

he is right Tomcraft can't mix if ur trying to convice him he is a good DJ you obviously haven't heard any of his mixes, his track selection may be is original but he can't fucking mix I tell ya listen to his The Mix CD, several tracks end after a 2 second pause and then the new track kicks in, is that how you mix?!

Well regardless of what ur talkin about here, i think he is a fine dj, and i dont think this thread is the fuckin place for a flame war on his skillz, considering that this is a thread to NOTIFY CALGARY THAT HE IS GOING TO BE COMING!!!!!!!!! fuck sakes. Im sure the promoter wouldnt appreciate Tomcraft bashing, in the tomcraft is coming thread.

to put it simply, you're a stinky wanker

every dj that has ever touched the wheels of steel fucks up a mix from time to time. that said, im not quite clear on what you're referring to with regards to that mix cd (maybe i need to re-listen, i haven't heard it in a while), but i don't recall any major problems. if you listen to any of his sets, the mixing is excellent. i think your bashing comes from no knowledge, which points to plain ignorance. tomcraft is hardcore oldskool and his mixing is no worse than whatever awesome and unheard of dj's you like.

go listen to your cool djs if you don't like it

I not bashing him, I even said I'll go because I like his track selection. I just don't think he's technically a good DJ, that's all I said. I'm taking nothing away from him, but from personal experience I've noticed that Producers that want to be DJ's aren't always the best mixers.

I will still try to go to this show. And I know the promoter so I don't think he'll be too upset cuz I'm sure the show will sell out anyways.

And Vendetta you must think Tiesto is the best DJ in the world.

He is pretty danm good yea. Can u mix better than him aswell?

My 2 year old could mix better than him.

But he is a pretty good producer.

im in calgary to visit april 10-24 and then back for the summer april 30

and I have to agree Tiesto cant mix at all for being the #1 (ranked) DJ in the world
his productions are ace tho
