Trance addicts and Trance Lovers of Sydney ... A CALL TO ARMS!!!

Fellow Trance Addicts. Icebox's weekly Hard House Saturday night has not been doing well. I on behalf of A Night Of Trance am about to put foward a business proposal for our current night to be moved to become the regular weekly Saturday night at Icebox.

What does this mean?

If the plan is approved every Saturday night Icebox will play Uplifting Trance.

Which DJ's will you hear?

Diggs v Morro
Steve Strangis
Sample Gee
Cameron O'Shea
Joshua van Aalst
Scott Richardson
Muli
Stama
Animate
Rob Noble
Liquid M (Unconfirmed)
Jumping Jack (Uncomfirmed)

If you would like this to become a reality. Then the best way to do this is to show the support that Uplifting Trance has in Sydney. How can this be done? Turn up and pack out the next night at Icebox i.e. March 12th (Friday Week). We need you! Bring friends, bring family, bring mums and dads, bring pets (actually don't bring pets). Now is the time.

There are so many positive points for a weekly melodic trance night at icebox.

the club is small.. and won't need much to get the numbers...

Its a Saturday night.. And its icebox... so people already go anyway.

It will be yet another way to get new DJ's in the door, and prove to Sydney that there is plenty of talent around!

You have my support mate!!!

PS - I am pretty sure Jumping Jack is good for it!

i think you may find more success in a monthly night?

that way u can devote more of ure time and funds into that one night, making it better on the whole.

u are targeting a very small crowd - the trance group. expecting a crowd every week from such a small group of ppl is a very big ask, especially, relatively, "coming from nowhere".

with a monthly event, people can look forward to something every month, set it aside, turn up, have a great time for that once a month, instead of spreading there apperances to the night over a month.

this works great in adelaide, with our prog night. It used to be a weekly night, a couple years ago, but changed to a monthly night, and is still going strong for nearly 3 years.

Its one of the most fun nights of the month for me, internationals or no internationals, because all the effort is directed into this one night, the people know its on, and they know its going to be good.

anyway, good luck for whatever you decide to do.

and yes, it is a pretty gay name for a night.

to tell you the truth, i agree, not paying it out or anything but i feel the name limits the night... and doesnt give the mystery... like if someone saw it in 3d they may go "oh i hate trance" but might hate house, thinking its trance, because a lot of ppl get their genres confused.
