My artist name lame?

Hey guys,

Just a stupid question here, but:

My producing name is Tidal Wave...
I can never really finally decide what name i want to produce under, because after a while i get tired of the name i chose..
What do you think? Lame or not?

My opinion: Worry less about the name and more about the music. If you make a killer track and you call yourself "Asshat of the ages," chances are it's still gonna get play time.

I call my self Project Seven, and Subtle under "real name" or Subtle if it fits

If u choose an artist name, and for longer period.. you are stick with it.. as I am under Subtle

Agreed, but I think you should come up with a more orignal name than all the other trance names, because they all are so similar, that it becomes more of a wishwash of artists. Pick something that is recognizable, and memorable, and fuckin cool.

Besides, if you ever get to the point where you consider yourself 'good', you can always change it. Clean slate of sorts...

In high school they used to call me DJ Palanca...don't ask me why...but I've never liked the DJ prefix. I've been RiCo since I joined the Army in 2000...everybody started calling me RiCo. My other nick is OOBE...I've had that since 1999. And talking about Tidal Wave, I had a Fultron car amplifier and the model was Tidal Wave. It was blue and little but it was LOUD, hehe.
