do u have to play 5 tuens in 15 mins?
otherwise, id put on belfunk.
and win.
hmm, does that mean invitation only just for djs - or crowd as well??
yea its sounds a bit dodgy :s
Invite only? how do u get an invite!
I assume the promoters would be doing the inviting...
soundsd like an awesome competition then...
Whats the 25 tracks condition mean?
I thought this comp' was supposed to give all local dj's an oppertunity to play and get a spot playing with Tiesto and Tongy, what the hell is with this invite bs? I can understand if they had limited numbers or something..
And what's with the 15 minutes each, thats only 3 tracks or so!!
if anyone knows were to get an invite, give us a message please..
3min / track isn't really that hard. Maybe they're trying to get the most "leet" pro dj to play?
Where do you find the details for the comp? Is there a WA comp or do we get the shit end of the stick again?

From inthemix:
"Heinekens first Thirst Tour of Australia is about to kick off, the semi-pro DJ search all culminating with a tour from Pete Tong and Tiesto in early May. Part of the process includes the selection of judges who will hand pick 5 up-and-coming DJs in each state wholl battle it out to attend the national final in Melbourne.
Judges on the national panel include:
Bek Van Vliet: Deputy Editor for Ministry Magazine
Neil Ackland: Co-owner/Head of Marketing for inthemix.com.au
Thad Lester: Ex-Sony, now owner of Exclusive Artists (manages Andy Van, John Course, and more)
Jemma Gorman: Publicity Manager for Ministry of Sound
Simon Cahill: Ex-Zomba, now dance label manager at BMG
Also announced are the Heineken Ambassador DJs in each state, the respected names to feature at Heineken Greenhouse Effect nights around the country in April and May.
Heineken Ambassador DJs:
NSW: Mark Dynamix, Goodwill, Ajax
VIC: John Course, Grant Smillie, Luke DAngelo
WA: Dan Stinton, Luke Neville, Adam Kelly
QLD: Matt Nugent, Movin Marty Nicholls
SA: Brendon, Mark Bundi
Keep an eye on ITM Whatson and local guides for details on Greenhouse Effect events in your city."
So are the "Ambassador DJs" the ones that choose the DJ comp entrants?
never heard of any of those names hahaha
gotta love the trance representation
i bet those judges wouldnt know anything about mixing anyway...
