Need Tascam FW1884 opinions

I'm on the verge of buying a FW 1884 ( http://www.tascam.com/product_info.php?pid=269 )

I need a high quality firewire interface for use with my notebook (centrino 1.3) and also an interface for Cubase SX.

Any thoughts, opinions or experiences ?
