getting full movies on the 'net??
Hey I was wondering...people always seem to talk about getting movies on the net and stuff...where do you guys find the downloads?
I don't have a tv and it would be awful cool to have something to watch on my computer. Any suggestions of where to find this stuff??

p.s. if someone comes by this forum and finds out that people are sharing or trying to solicate pirated videos, or even posting urls or links u can get shut down, or in big trouble, just a warning, thought it rarely happens
but mIRC, its good for it, or usually friends just send em to me
thats like saying if a cop or FBI agent comes into my house and sees that i have illegally downloaded mp3's and i burn them onto a cd, hes gonna bust me. highly unlikely. people talk about it all the time.

The ftp's don't stay up long enough. Think I'll have to stick with paying �5 at the UCI.

Another chat network with a loads of movie channels is Dalnet... places like #movie-central release the movies.. there tons of channels so do a "list" search by clicking the button called "list channels" (its beside the Channels button in MIRC).. and type in movies.

Couple of days ago a friend of mine DL "The Fast and the Furious" over WinMX. The only thing I hated about it was that it had no soundtrack.. I wanted to hear BT's stuff again (it has the dialogues and all, just not the songs)
Well, yeah, U can get cut-off...
i use Morpheus... i get every movie i could ever even THINK of there! you can download it from www.download.com like goodnet said... yes, you can get cutoff, but very rarely do i have that problem - most people are cool about it... and man i've gotten sooo many movies...
the only problem is that they come in 2 parts to prevent the files from being SOOO large, and the second problem is that for new releases that just came out, the are the DAT copies, so they have no soundtrack like hypronix said... just the talking and sound effects ,no music... but still good.

personally i'm never interested in d/ling movies...its just a waste of space, i'd rather spend 8 bucks and watch it on a much bigger screen and better sound system ....
but just a note i wanted to make, u can watch full length movies at
www.cinemanow.com...ok, maybe not stuff like fast and the furious...the movies are lesser known...but what the hell...

of course when the movies come out i buy them on DVD... i'm referring to movies you can't get, or just came out
for instance the CKY2K video - anyone ever seen that? i saw it once, but was never able to get my hands on it.. i d/l'd it from morpheus.. same with Fast and Furious.. i told Yahoo shopping before that movie came out to reserve me a copy of DVD... they will notify me!
