Thanks M8!!! w00t w00t...

Don,

setting the cdjs aside for a minute, why do you have such a giant leap between the mixers you're choosing from? If money is no object, then without even thinking of anything else, go with the Allen & Heath Xone 092 and your only decision with this mixer would be if you want the VCF Sliding Faders or if you want the Rotary Version, see pics below:

Rotary Version, Allen & Heath Xone 092R

but as I implied above, this mixer is not cheap!
If you are on a budget, and you want to stick to price range of djm600, which your price would be USD$1025.00(and you'll get USD $100.00 mail in rebate directly from Pioneer so your net price would be USD $925.00)plus shipping and any applicable taxes, I suggest you look at newer technology and IMO, a much better mixers then DJM600, the TASCAM X-9, Allen & Heath Xone 062mkII, Denon DN-X1500-brand new for 2004(this weekend only on sale at USD$799.00 3/6-3/7/2004), Numark 5000FX-brand new for 2004, Rane Empath.

Back to CDJ1000mkIIs email on tuesday morning your local time at [email protected] and I'll let you know your price on those and the Xone092.

Cheers...

Thanks mate..

To be honest its really all about personal preference and what I play on each week in clubs. The DJM is still pretty much the standard Mixer in the clubs Im playing and owning a Xone62 in the past I wasnt a fan of the out put signal it gave, i found it far too low frequency for a normal in house set up. Also little things like no prefade and a very low OP on the headhophone op too.(I believe this has been changed now)

Really its just about personal preference as I said but I am looking to get a shot of the new A&H in the next couple of weeks if I like it then I will certainly look to include that but if not I will stick with my tried and tested DJM which dispite all its critics I reall love using.

I will get that Email off to you on Tuesday!!
