Can you dance?

Just curious as to whether or not most of the people posting here can dance. I, for one, am not one to bust many moves at shows. Of course, I get out there with my girlfriend when she wants to, but other than that, I keep it to a minimum. I'm there for the music more than anything. How about everyone else?

Im a bodybuilder. I move as much as it takes me to get another pill in my mouth, go to the bathroom, or talk to people. MY knees and dancing dont mix LOL.

I dance a lot. It's as much a part of the experience as listening to the music itself. It has to get into me and flow.

I dance well, too, or so I've been told. The funny part is that before I got into electronic music (circa 99), no one could drag me onto a dancefloor. I was really bad at it, and couldn't move with coordination to a beat for the life of me.

Now I'm the one doing the dragging.

I've been told I can
I've been told I can't
whichever fits best

Have I mentioned I can rap too?

I dance at home in my car and off course in the club; WITH ALL THE GIRLS :P

I been making progress and I get my own attention it's funny when chicks come up to me and compliment my moves

And Maaz.... I wanna hear you rapping! Can you freestyle too? And what languages you best at ?
We should do a TA MC's battle thread

Exactly, I totally agree with this! There is nothing like sharing the energy of everyone up on the dancefloor when "that" breakdown of your favourite track of the month comes in and you can just lose it with everyone!

In the language o' the brits,
Aye, every word fits;
Trance hop showdown
As my bassdrum hits.

All this, yo, also in Portuguese,
Fear me, northerners:
As I've got the tease!

You wanna hear? D'Accord!
Words flowing li'e the shore,
I'll record my rhymes,
yours against mines

Down with the knot,
we love you Technaut!
Do we love you not?!
Up with the naught!

(I just can't right now cause I'm leaving in a minute, reason why this last parragraph is even worse than the rest )

Yeah , thanks to trance, it helped to go to the dancefloor. Nowadays I usually dance from 20% to 99% of time during party depending on music.

i dont really understand how you can just be 'there for the music' yet try and keep the dancing 'to a minumum'.. the music we all know and love is called dance music for a reason. if it doesnt get you dancing, then your in the wrong place. thats the whole point in dance music. fair enough,im not suggesting you go about showing off your moves cos that can get quite cringing at times really, but you should let yourself go a little. theres nothing better than dancing away and getting properly lost in the music.THAT...is what its all about mate.

WTF
You take your girlfriend to the club

Posted by Dmatrox on Mar-06-2004 00:56:

As we dance to a beat that seems out of time to the one your feel in the metronome of your mind,

does it offend you that our ryhthm look strange or causes your thinking to be rearranged.

could it be that you would understand this beat to which we dance more clearly if you been given a chance.

So as you struggle to find the feel with your feet.

As yourself, can you dance to my beat? to my beat. to my beat. to my beat

Posted by wee_rooney on Mar-06-2004 01:14:

Drunk

am neva off the dancefloor, am no sure if a wuld call it dancin tho...

Posted by newbie on Mar-06-2004 01:26:

I can't dance at all. Mostly like dance/trance music driving back and forth to work.

I do picture what I would look like though. Probably nothing like the way I really look.

Posted by montana on Mar-06-2004 01:36:

danceing,hmmm,no, i'm totally crap at it, but that doesn't stop me.

Posted by Protege on Mar-06-2004 02:29:

Sober=No Dancing
Drunk=Breakdancer

I dunno why I can't dance when I'm not drunk but whenever I get a few in me you can't keep me off the floor.
