Local Scene Info / Discussion --> Norway

What about adding Norway?
If there are any other Norwegians seeing this, then please respond.
We all know that there exist A LOT of Norwegian trance addicts, and i'm sure it would be great with an own section to keep ourselves updated informed on stuff and so on.

What do you think ?

No use. First off there aren't enough norwegian TAs that post here on a regular basis(unless psy trance counts), and secondly there is hardly anything happening in Norway trancewise at the moment (Trance Department @ John Dee and THT are probably the only events/promotors doing something trancewise at the moment). A few attempts to get one have been made in the past, but to no avail.

However, the french got their forum and I've hardly seen any events going on there the times I've been there so why not. I guess it all comes down to whether enough people post here regularly, and I'm afraid there aren't. Feel free to prove me wrong though.

Actually I thought it over a bit, and I agree a lot on the 2nd statement, about that there's hardly anything happening in Norway, as that would have been the most central part of a Norwegian forum.
About the nr. of Norwegian TAs, then I guess you're right too.
I mixed in a little with that there are a lot of Norwegian trance addicts (in general) on IRC (EFnet) as i've seen, but I guess most of them prefer Trance.nu more :/

Perhaps I felt a little eager this morning about this...

So how many Norwegians compared to Swedes are members of TA?
Got any count on that ?

I've been thinking about this too. It would have been nice with a norwegian part. Maybe more norwegian user would appear then. I guess there is a lot of norwegians who is registered, but not active. It shouldn't be a big problem? There's nothing to lose on it at least.

Scenewise it may seem dead to you because you don't live in one of the major cities. Trance is dead in Norway, let's face it.
Therefore let's consider other electronic styles, I mean, there is plentiful of nice flavours to choose from.

Bergen, Trondheim and Oslo has got plenty of clubs and small-intimate parties all the time. Sadly not many megaraves or fancy dj's come and visit us anymore, but there is plenty of stuff going on You just have to look.

Yea of course, there are enough parties going on around the country, just not trance.
